This Brian Robinson trade would sicken Commanders fans (but it makes sense)
Briefly

The Washington Commanders are considering trading veteran running back Brian Robinson Jr. Many fans oppose a potential trade, particularly to rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys' running back options are limited, making Robinson an attractive prospect. However, the Commanders should only consider a trade if an exceptional offer is made. Keeping Robinson could prove beneficial, especially as he aims for a strong performance in his contract year, which may also motivate him to excel if he remains with Washington.
If the organization is, indeed, intent on moving on from Robinson, so be it. There is no real going back from the swirling rumors if they have any substance.
The Cowboys would love to have a player like Robinson, at least over Sanders or Williams. Commanders-Cowboys trade involving Brian Robinson Jr. might be the only scenario Washington should avoid.
Robinson could take this news as yet another motivating factor. If he winds up sticking around and starting for one more year, don't be surprised if he has his best season yet.
Fans don't want to see Robinson suiting up for the Star. Anywhere but Dallas, please.
