"Song Dog will sell some locally produced food on site, including cheeses, but will also invite in food trucks during busier times and encourage guests to bring their own snacks or picnics. Song Dog Farm Distillery opens on a 29-acre farm in Boyds, Maryland with a 5,500-square-foot distillery producing bourbon, rye, gin, vodka, and liqueurs. The distillery uses grains grown on-site or sourced from another Montgomery County farm to emphasize terroir-driven flavors from heirloom corn and special rye varieties. On-site offerings include tours, tastings, cocktail classes, low- and non-alcoholic cocktails, and cocktails designed with Danny Childs using seasonal local ingredients. The tasting room sells local cheeses, hosts food trucks, and welcomes picnics. Family- and dog-friendly programming aims to build community with varied tour and class options.
