A 15,000-square-foot museum in the undercroft of the Lincoln Memorial opens June 25 after more than three years of construction. Free advance tickets are available on recreation.gov for tours up to 30 days ahead, with a $1 transaction fee for advance bookings. Same-day tickets can be reserved at the Korean War Veterans Memorial kiosk starting at 8:45 AM daily. Tours run from 9 AM to 9 PM from March through October and from 9 AM to 8 PM from November through February. Advance reservations open one month in advance at 11 AM, with some tickets released at 4 PM the day before. Groups can reserve up to 50 tickets online only. The $68 million project began in March 2023 and includes a museum, theater, and bookstore focused on the memorial’s role in the Civil Rights movement, featuring columns and educational video programming.
