DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb entertained attendees at Open Streets DC with his double Dutch jump-roping skills, reminiscent of his childhood at a recreation center in Montgomery County. He recounted how he picked up the skill again while campaigning after years of not practicing. Notably, he acknowledged the guidance he received from experienced rope twirlers, demonstrating the collaborative nature of the sport. Despite the fun, he reflected on the unexpected attention his performance garnered, highlighting the splash his playful side made on social media.
