Team USA recovered from a late blown lead to beat Sweden in extra time and also moved on. Canada will face Finland and the United States will play Slovakia in semifinal matchups on Friday for a chance at gold. Capitals teammates in Washington expressed no surprise at Fehervary and Wilson's Olympic impact. Alex Ovechkin and Dylan Strome returned to the ice for the team's first full practice since the break. The Capitals are hosting the Rising Stars Academy to provide skill development and mentorship for local hockey players of color.
