Pierre-Luc Dubois will miss fourth straight game due to lower-body injury against Kraken
"Dubois, who suffered a lower-body injury against the New York Rangers on October 12, was present at the team's practice on Monday morning but again only skated in a light blue, no-contact jersey. Head coach Spencer Carbery then ruled the top-six centerman out of the Capitals' game against the Seattle Kraken when asked if Dubois was on track to getting back in a regular sweater this week."
""We'll see," Carbery said. "I haven't spoken to the trainers yet, but won't play tomorrow and then we'll see where it goes from there. Have a few days in between after Seattle, so that at least gives us a few more days for the potential for him to get back into a regular jersey." The Capitals will play the Kraken on Tuesday, have a planned full day off on Wednesday, will practice and travel to Columbus on Thursday,"
Pierre-Luc Dubois suffered a lower-body injury against the New York Rangers on October 12 and will miss a fourth straight Washington Capitals game. He attended Monday practice but skated only in a light blue, no-contact jersey and is not yet cleared to play. Head coach Spencer Carbery said he hasn't spoken to the trainers and ruled Dubois out for Tuesday while allowing extra days for a potential return. The team faces the Kraken Tuesday, has a planned day off Wednesday, then practices and travels to Columbus on Thursday. Dubois has zero points in three games, averaging 17:22, and Connor McMichael has centered the second line. In a full 82-game season last year Dubois recorded a career-best 66 points (20g, 46a) and had not missed a game since 2022-23 prior to this injury.
