Joe Beninati will miss last Capitals regular-season TV call of year against Islanders
Briefly

Joe Beninati, the voice of the Washington Capitals, is taking a break due to health reasons to ensure his voice is prepared for the upcoming playoffs. Announced on his social media, he will miss his third consecutive game, having already missed games against the Hurricanes and Blue Jackets. In his absence, Capitals radio voice John Walton will step in for the TV broadcast, while Zack Fisch will provide radio commentary. Additionally, the pregame show will feature different hosts, as Alexa Landestoy is on maternity leave.
Traveled to NY, hoped to work, but barely unpacked. Sadly, I've been advised to rest my voice tonight... so that I should be full go for Game 1 of playoffs.
The Capitals' pregame show will also be without Alexa Landestoy, who began her maternity leave at the end of last week.
