Cole Hutson, an 18-year-old defenseman and younger brother of Lane Hutson, attended the Canadiens' playoff game against the Capitals to support Lane. Dressed in a Canadiens sweater, Cole was seen with family and celebrated the team's victory alongside former player PK Subban. Although not yet signed to an entry-level contract with the Capitals and ready for a sophomore season at Boston University, Cole's allegiance to his brother highlighted the familial bond in the NHL. The Hutson family's dynamics were humorously discussed by their father, Rob.

Cole Hutson announced earlier this month that he will return for his sophomore season at Boston University.
