Charlie Lindgren revealed new Washington Capitals goalie pads that keep his zigzag motif while introducing more red, replacing the white bottom region and adding a red stripe through the zigzags. The Capitals plan an in-arena giveaway of an oven mitt featuring Lindgren and Logan Thompson pad designs to fans on November 26 against the Winnipeg Jets; the mitt image appears to use Lindgren's previous color scheme, and a full switch to a blue-and-red look for 2025-26 is uncertain.
