He returned to Hershey's lineup exactly a month ago tomorrow. The 21-year-old Russian signed a two-year contract extension with the Capitals on Halloween. In 12 games for the Bears this season, Miroshnichenko has recorded nine points (4g, 5a). In his last outing against the Charlotte Checkers, he notched two points (1g, 1a) in a 4-0 victory."
"Trineyev played two games for the Capitals, including his NHL debut against the Winnipeg Jets on December 13, during his second recall stint of the season. He played his second game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night, filling in for an ill Hendrix Lapierre. Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery previously indicated that Trineyev was initially recalled in favor of Miroshnichenko so the latter could get some post-injury game action and conditioning with the Bears. Trineyev has 12 points (6g, 6a) in 16 games for the Bears this season."

The earliest Miroshnichenko could play for Washington is the upcoming Saturday against Detroit while Hershey faces Bridgeport that night.
