Capitals recall Clay Stevenson from the Hershey Bears
Briefly

The Washington Capitals called up goaltender Clay Stevenson from the AHL's Hershey Bears as they prepare for a crucial Game 5 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Stevenson, who made his NHL debut recently and had an impressive playoff performance in the AHL, brings notable experience from his season with the Bears where he maintained an 18-8-4 record. During the regular season for the Bears, Stevenson had an 18-8-4 record along with a 2.94 goals-against average, an .888 save percentage, and two shutouts in 33 appearances.
