World Of Warcraft's Latest Patch Sure Is A Buggy Mess
"Decor Duels, aka World of Warcraft Prop Hunt, is both unfun and broken. The map is small and simplistic with few interesting places to hide."
"Hiders must keep moving every so often or they won't receive any rewards at the end. Even if you find a really good spot, you have to sit there and wiggle constantly."
"For hiders, it's trivially easy to get out of bounds and effectively become uncatchable within the time limit. Seekers can activate an ability that lets you just...see where everyone is on the map."
"The new bonus roll system is broken, for instance. It was advertised as bad luck protection, but players are experiencing issues with it."
World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5 launched with new content, including a deep sea fishing event and Decor Duels, a Prop Hunt-style game. However, nearly all new features are broken, making gameplay frustrating. Decor Duels suffers from a simplistic map, excessive player count, and a requirement for hiders to constantly move, which undermines the fun. Additionally, cheating is prevalent, with players easily exploiting the game mechanics. The new bonus roll system is also malfunctioning, compounding the issues players face in this patch.
