"We have always seen this as a [Wolfenstein] trilogy,"
"So that journey for B.J., even during those first few weeks at id, when we mapped out New Order, we still had the plan for, at least, that character. What will happen in the second one, what will happen in the third one. So I think that's important to say, because--at least, I hope--that we're not done with Wolfenstein yet. We have a story to tell."
Machine Games rebooted Wolfenstein with The New Order (2014), followed by The New Colossus (2017), Youngblood (2019), and the VR title Cyberpilot (2019). The studio views the rebooted storyline as a trilogy focused on B.J. Blazkowicz and plans a continuing arc for that character, though no third game has been announced. Amazon is reportedly developing a Wolfenstein TV series for Prime Video, produced by Kilter Films alongside Machine Games and believed to draw on the rebooted storyline. Machine Games is now part of Microsoft via the ZeniMax acquisition, and the studio recently released Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with a DLC and a Switch 2 port planned for 2026.
