Tomb Raider: Catalyst is scheduled for release in 2027 and is developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game places Lara Croft in Northern India after a mythical cataclysm that has unleashed ancient secrets and awakened mysterious guarding forces. Lara races against notorious treasure hunters from around the world to uncover buried truths, stop those who would exploit the power, and decide whom to trust among rivals and allies to prevent catastrophe. Alix Wilton Regan will portray Lara Croft for both Catalyst and a reimagining of the original Tomb Raider. A remake of the first game was announced alongside Catalyst, and the canon status of the Survivor trilogy remains unconfirmed.
