EA will deliver a suite of quality-of-life fixes for The Sims 4 over an eight-week period. Players can vote on which quality-of-life features and bug fixes should be prioritized via the official Sims forums. A base game update will arrive on September 18 for PC and five days later on consoles to allow time for error correction and for modders and creators to prepare ahead of Adventure Awaits. In October, hotfixes for Adventure Awaits will be deployed as the team monitors community feedback. A further base game update in November will add fixes and new content; details will be announced closer to release. EA reaffirmed ongoing support for The Sims 4 and stated Sims 5 is not in development.
