AdHoc Studio, founded in 2018 by four former Telltale developers, released Dispatch in 2025 in collaboration with Critical Role. Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy starring Aaron Paul that follows Robert Robertson, a powerless heir to Mecha Man's suit who becomes a dispatcher managing rehabilitated villains, aiming to revive episodic storytelling amid post-pandemic superhero fatigue.
