Nintendo has announced that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 console will commence on April 24, following a temporary delay attributed to uncertainty surrounding U.S. tariffs. Though the console and flagship games like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Banzana will maintain their original pricing, many accessories will see price increases ranging from $1 to $10. In a statement, Nintendo highlighted that these adjustments are due to changing market conditions, and also hinted at potential future price changes for other products.
"Nintendo Switch 2 accessories will experience price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions," Nintendo said in a statement.
"Other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product are also possible in the future depending on market conditions."
"The only item that remains unchanged is the Samsung microSD Express Card, which was listed for sale for $59.99 as of a few days ago."
"The console itself and games Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Banzana remain at the originally announced prices."
