The week-long event showcases high-level gameplay across a variety of genres, with the speedrunning goal of doing everything really, really fast being the focus throughout each run.
Summer Games Done Quick will start on July 6 at 8:30AM PT / 11:30AM CT / 12:30PM ET, and kicks off with the pre-show, which introduces the event, its goals, and highlights prizes and incentives for viewers.
To date, GDQ has raised more than $50 million for MSF and the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which is the beneficiary of its fundraising efforts from the winter edition of its speedrunning marathon.
SGDQ, which is livestreamed 24 hours a day on the GDQ Twitch channel, will be hosted in Minneapolis.
