Steam's Big Winter Sale Features A Ton Of 2025's Best Games
"'Tis the season to gather around a fireplace, sing songs, exchange gifts, and reconnect with distant family members and friends. But like, whatever, the bigger reason to celebrate the arrival of winter is for all the awesome sales. Valve's annual Winter Sale, one of the digital storefront's biggest sales of the year, started today and runs until January 5. And ho boy, you better believe a bunch of big and new games, as well as some older and smaller titles, are on sale."
"To help you find a great game that will provide some distraction from the hectic holiday activities, I've dug through the sales to put together this handy list that features the 2025 Game Awards GOTY winner, Expedition 33, as well as other big hits from earlier this year like open-world RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Monster Hunter Wilds."
Valve's Winter Sale runs now through January 5 and features discounted prices across new releases, big-budget hits, indie titles, and older classics. The sale highlights 2025 releases and major games such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance II ($30), Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ($49), Monster Hunter Wilds ($39), Assassin's Creed Shadows ($35), and Expedition 33, the 2025 Game Awards GOTY winner. Multiple mid-tier and indie games are discounted, including Routine ($22), The Alters ($24), and Hell Is Us ($35). Older staples and classics are heavily reduced, including Resident Evil 4 ($20), Tomb Raider ($2), Rise of the Tomb Raider ($3), and Cult of the Lamb ($13).
