Splitgate Studio Reacts To Player Numbers: "Steam Charts Don't Measure Fun"
""Steam charts don't measure fun," adding that Steam player numbers only show "one number, on one platform, at one given moment." Steam numbers do no show the "full picture or what it feels like to actually play, and they definitely don't capture the community that's actively helping shape what Arena Reloaded is becoming.""
""The gameplay's the best it's ever been, and we'd love for you to jump in and form your own opinion,""
""Make FPS Great Again""
Splitgate: Arena Reloaded relaunched on December 17, 2025, peaking at about 2,300 concurrent players on Steam at launch and reaching 952 concurrents in the past 24 hours. Earlier entries saw substantially higher peaks: Splitgate 2 reached 25,785 concurrents during its battle royale arrival, and the original Splitgate peaked at 67,724 concurrents in August 2021. 1047 Games emphasized that Steam numbers represent only one platform snapshot and do not capture play experience or community activity. The studio encouraged players to try the game and announced a future Arena Royale battle royale mode; console performance remains undisclosed.
