Skate Glitch Lets You Cheat Gravity By Clapping
"One fan has already found a glitch that lets players slow their falls to a crawl as long as they're clapping on the way down. Reddit user SurWesley shared a video demonstrating the glitch by skating off M-Corp title. To pull off this controlled descent, players need to press the emote button while bailing and keep holding on to it. According to SurWesley, the Third Eye emote can also enable a slow fall."
"Skate allows players to explore four different neighborhoods that have essentially been turned into giant skate parks following M-Corps' decision to abandon the city of San Vansterdamn. The game has already surpassed 78,000 concurrent players on Steam, and that number may continue to rise. EA has already set up Skate server queues to deal with the influx of players. For optimum results with Skate, these are the best settings for the game to make it feel like the classic Skate titles."
Skate returned as a free game after a 15-year hiatus, letting players explore the city of San Vansterdam. Players can roam four neighborhoods converted into giant skate parks after M-Corp abandoned the city. A fan discovered a glitch that lets players slow their falls by pressing and holding the emote button while bailing; the Third Eye emote can also enable a slow fall. The glitch may be removed in a future update but currently does not break gameplay. The game surpassed 78,000 concurrent Steam players, prompting EA to set up server queues. Skate is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
