The annual wrestling title from developer Visual Concepts was released in March this year and brought incremental upgrades over WWE 2K24. Major additions include the new 'The Island' mode, which beings an online PvPvE experience with custom characters, inspired by NBA 2K's 'The City'mode. Traditional modes like Showcase, MyGM, and MyRise return, albeit with improvements and new features."
PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members will gain access to multiple titles in the PlayStation Game Catalog on September 16. WWE 2K25 joins the catalog with new modes and gameplay improvements, including 'The Island' online PvPvE mode, intergender wrestling, chain wrestling, Underground and Bloodline Rules match types, and barricade diving. WWE 2K25 will be available on PS5 and PS4. Persona 5 Tactica is a turn-based tactical RPG that places parties of up to three characters on grid-based maps and runs alongside Persona 5 focusing on the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Additional additions include Green Hell, Fate/Samurai Remnant, Crow Country, The Invincible, and Conscript. A classic Legacy of Kain title will join the Classics Catalog for Deluxe/Premium members.
