Pokemon TCG Pocket Devs Promises To Remove Trade Tokens
Briefly

Pokemon TCG Pocket has enjoyed immense success, surpassing 100 million downloads. However, trade tokens introduced earlier received backlash from players because they required destroying duplicate cards. In response, developers Creatures Inc. and DeNA will eliminate trade tokens by fall, replacing them with an in-game currency called shinedust. Shinedust will facilitate trades involving higher rarity cards, and tokens still held by players will convert to shinedust. Future updates will enhance trading features, allowing players to indicate desired trades, addressing earlier frustrations and aiming for a smoother trading process.
The developers at Creatures Inc. and DeNA announced they will eliminate the unpopular trade tokens, instead introducing a new in-game currency called shinedust for trading cards.
Shinedust will be the new standard currency for trades involving high-rarity cards, and any leftover trade tokens will be converted to shinedust for players.
In addition to introducing shinedust, developers are planning an update that will enable players to specify cards they want to trade, enhancing the trading experience.
The update follows significant player feedback, indicating that the prior system, which required the destruction of duplicate cards, was not well-received.
