The Lucario was previously used to demonstrate Mega Evolution and lists Korrina as its original trainer, linking the Pokémon to Lumiose City and earlier games. The letter recounts AZ's three-thousand-year lifespan, mentioning his partner Floette, the ancient Kalos War that set up later events, the first time he witnessed Mega Evolution, and the moment he witnessed the "dark day" that fell over Galar in Pokémon Sword and Shield. The epilogue can be missed by players.
