Battlefield 6's open beta launched with early access on August 7. Players engage in modes such as Conquest and Breakthrough, enjoying its responsive gunplay and immersive sound design. However, a prevalent issue is players failing to revive downed comrades. Despite anyone having the ability to revive fallen soldiers, teammates often ignore those in need, leading to frustration during gameplay. Overall, the beta provides an exciting experience, yet highlights the importance of teamwork and gameplay mechanics in enhancing player interactions.
Lying on the ground, I watched them reload their rifles, look around for other enemies, and then...they just ran off, leaving me to die in the street.
It's weird to gatekeep an 'open' beta, but whatever. Since it launched on Thursday, I've been squeezing in as many matches of Conquest and Breakthrough as I can and having a great time.
The gunplay is tight and responsive, everything sounds dangerous, explosions are incredible, and the maps are big, but not too big.
In this game, anyone can revive a downed soldier by running up to them, holding a specific button, and dragging them to safety.
