Techland's popular zombie game, Dying Light, will not receive its "Retouched" update on Nintendo Switch, nor will there be a port for the upcoming Switch 2. The developer confirmed that while the original game is playable via backwards compatibility on Switch 2, no adapted version is in development. Techland is currently focused on releasing Dying Light: The Beast for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with no announcements regarding a potential Switch 2 adaptation. This news follows the cloud version of the sequel, Stay Human, which was released in April 2022 but is no longer available.
