"Revealed during Sony's PlayStation State of Play Japan showcase on Tuesday, a trailer for The Forsaken Hollows showed off two new Nightfarers. One appeared to be some sort of mace-wielding agility Undertaker class while another is a fencing Scholar class who casts spells from a book. We also got a peek at what seem like some new locations and boss fights, including additional Nightlords and some old ones with remixed environmental effects."
"The trailer ends with a shot of Knight Artorias, boss from the DLC for the original Dark Souls, in case you were wondering what everyone has been shouting about in the comments on social media and YouTube. The frenzied warrior wields a greatsword and sports tons of aggressive, chaotic attacks. He has a tragic backstory and taught a generation of Souls fans that dodging is king and blocking with shields is for wimps."
Elden Ring Nightreign's expansion The Forsaken Hollows arrives December 4 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, priced at $15. The expansion adds new Nightfarer classes, including a mace-wielding agility Undertaker and a fencing Scholar who casts spells from a book, plus new locations, bosses, and remixed environmental effects. The trailer ends with Knight Artorias, an aggressive greatsword-wielding boss known for chaotic attacks and a tragic backstory. The DLC introduces an unknown threat to Limveld and a shifting-earth event called the Great Hollow. The multiplayer roguelike remains rewarding, especially with consistent groups.
