Nightreign And 5 Other Cool Games To Play This Weekend
"Happy Saturday eve! We've finally rolled into December, which means it's friggin' freezing outside in many places. But hey, perfect weather to stay inside and play some video games, preferably with a warm drink of one's choosing. But if you're unsure of what to play, we have a few recommendations for what to check out. This weekend we're taking a look at some tactical, and stealthy, third-person shooters, some Marvel shenanigans, and more. Let's get into it!"
"It feels kind of good and very weird to be back playing Destiny 2 around the holidays again, something I've done every year except last for a decade. The new Star Wars expansion is very well done, if seemingly pretty short. It feels a bit like a Star Wars-themed one-off episode of a Rick and Morty or Family Guy, except it's deathly serious. I'm not sure what it says about the future of the sci-fi MMO just yet, but there's some really neat stuff here."
Cold December weather makes staying inside and playing video games with a warm drink appealing. Weekend recommendations focus on tactical and stealthy third-person shooters, Marvel-related games, and recent expansions. Elden Ring: Nightreign — The Forsaken Hollows is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows, and presents a new map that players can find confusing during co-op runs. Destiny 2: Renegades is available on consoles and PC and offers a well-executed Star Wars-themed expansion that feels short but contains neat content; its tone is serious despite comparisons to animated comedic one-offs. Players plan extended weekend play.
