September’s first Xbox Game Pass wave is relatively small, led by Hollow Knight: Silksong. Other incoming titles include Nine Sols, a 2D action-platformer with Sekiro-inspired combat and illustrated art; I Am Your Beast, a concise first-person shooter; and Cataclismo, which blends real-time strategy resource management with siege defense and exploration. August additions recently added Gears of War: Reloaded, Herdling, and Persona 4: Golden. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers who play Skate on September 16 receive Danny’s Hawaiian Dream, the San Van Party Pack, and the Time is Money Pack DLC. Several games will be removed from the library on September 15.
This is a small wave in comparison to previous months, but with good reason as Team Cherry's long-in-development Hollow Knight: Silksong looks like it'll overshadow every release in or around it here. That's not to say that the other games should be ignored! Nine Sols is a delightful 2D action-platformer with Sekiro-inspired action and elegantly illustrated art, I Am Your Beast is a slick FPS with a short--but satisfying--time commitment, and Cataclismo merges real-time strategy resource management with siege defense and exploration.
Game Pass Ultimate members looking to jump into Skate when it arrives on September 16 can also claim a bundle of goodies, as you'll get Danny's Hawaiian Dream, the San Van Party Pack, and the Time is Money Pack DLC as a bonus with your subscription. Several games will also be removed from Game Pass on September 15, so you only have a few days left to play these three titles.
