New Demo Released For Game Delayed By Silksong
Briefly

CloverPit is a rogue-lite slot machine that blends lever-pull mechanics with horror elements and is described as the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette. The game was originally due on September 3 but the release date moved to September 26 to avoid launching alongside Silksong on September 4. Panik Arcade released an updated demo on the original date, labeling it much closer to the 1.0 release and adding Steam Achievements, new charm modifiers, quality-of-life improvements, and a plot update. The demo is available on Steam ahead of the full release. Other indie titles also adjusted schedules around Silksong's launch.
Developer Panik Arcade describes CloverPit as "the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette," giving the Balatro treatment to an addictive lever-pull slot machine--with a healthy dose of horror besides. While CloverPit has plenty of promise, Panik Arcade was realistic about its chance of competing with Silksong, and made the call to move its release back to September 26 to avoid the clash.
As a nod to the day that should have been CloverPit's release date, Panik Arcade has instead released an updated demo that the developer says is "much closer to the 1.0 release." The demo update adds multiple new features including Steam Achievements, new charm modifiers, quality of life updates, and even an update to the plot. You can check out the CloverPit demo on Steam now, ahead of its full release on September 26.
CloverPit wasn't the only game to push its release date back to avoid competing with Silksong, the Hollow Knight sequel that has been highly anticipated for a number of years now. Adventure RPG Faeland also pushed back its 1.0 release due to the clash, though the game remains available in Steam Early Access. Aeternum Game Studios also delayed its game Aeterna Lucis from September into 2026--though the Silksong release date reveal was only one factor in this delay.
