Marvel Snap': Guardians of Galaxy Hits Vol. 2 season has a few must-have cards
"the season pass card is Star-Lord, Master of the Sun, which has a complicated bit of text. It's a four-cost, 5-power On-Reveal card that does two things. First, it gives players more energy for the next turn based on the number of turns, in which players had unspent energy. He can generate at least 5 energy in a normal non-Limbo game."
"He also adds that much power, making him a big addition to any lane. Star Lord, Master of the Sun, has plenty of flexibility and can make any number of decks better. (Second Dinner) It's a card that has a unique place in the game because of its flexibility. It can be used in a variety of archetypes, including ramp, Zombie Galacti, Armin Zola and High Evo decks. Like in other seasons, Second Dinner is focusing on a different deck-building aspect."
Last month featured meta-changing cards such as Shang-Lao the Undying, Fin Fang Foom and Dragon Lord. February's season is titled the Guardians' Greatest Hits Vol. 2 and the season pass card is Star-Lord, Master of the Sun. Star-Lord is a four-cost, 5-power On-Reveal that grants additional energy next turn based on how many turns players had unspent energy and also adds equal power to his lane; he can generate at least five energy in a normal non-Limbo game. Star-Lord fits many archetypes including ramp, Zombie Galacti, Armin Zola and High Evo and pairs with Sunspot and Jim Hammond Human Torch. The season emphasizes energy manipulation and includes Magus, a 3-5 Super Premium Pass activate card that copies the text of a character in the deck with Cost equal to unspent energy (without triggering an On-Reveal), and Moondragon, a 2-2 end-of-turn card released with the season.
