Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza is so much more than a silly diversion
Briefly

Since 2018, the Like a Dragon series has evolved from its serious Yakuza roots to embrace a more playful tone. The latest installment, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, showcases Goro Majima as he embarks on a whimsical adventure filled with memory loss and pirate escapades. This 'side story' offers a rich experience with a 20-hour campaign, numerous sidequests, exploration locations, and character interactions, blending humor and nostalgia. This installment acts as a fitting tribute while looking forward to new horizons in the franchise.
In addition to a roughly 20-hour main storyline, there are 31 sidequests, a B-plot involving a totally different group of rogue and ruthless pirates, and diverse explorations.
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii features ex-Tojo executive Goro Majima befriending a kid, donning a pirate hat, and sailing the seven seas after an accident strips him of his memory.
