Neowiz will introduce difficulty options in the upcoming Overture expansion for Lies of P, responding to player feedback aimed at reaching a broader audience. Players will choose between two new difficulty levels and the existing one will be renamed. A boss rush mode and a challenging Death March mode will also be included. This decision contrasts with the approach of other studios like From Software, known for their stance against adding difficulty, while others like Stellar Blade have embraced the idea to make games more accessible. The expansion launches in summer 2024.
