Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was revealed at The Game Awards 2024 and is Naughty Dog's first new IP in over a decade. The studio confirmed development began in 2020 and the game is being developed for PS5. The game follows bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun stranded on the distant planet Sempiria, where players must survive threats and attempt to escape orbit. Multiple industry insiders state that the title will not receive a new trailer at The Game Awards 2025 and that it will not be released in 2026. Naughty Dog and Sony have not confirmed a release window.
