IGN Live is back for a second year in 2025, partly filling the gaping hole in all of us left by an absent E3
Briefly

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) as traditionally known is effectively over, reportedly replaced by a B2B event called Iicon, which lacks the essence of E3. Meanwhile, alternatives like Summer Games Fest are gaining traction. A notable contender, IGN Live, is set for its second year in June at the Magic Box in LA, promising a fan-centric experience with hands-on game demos, interviews, and exclusive content. The event is positioned to capture what enthusiasts loved about E3 while eliminating the industry's corporate behind-the-scenes atmosphere.
We think it's liable to be something of an imposter. It's a purely B2B event, for a start.
IGN Live will once again be based at LA's Magic Box downtown event space, and will feature hands-on opportunities for unreleased games.
