The Huang Jian'e quest in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers begins at Shu Sanctum, where players must acquire the Trinity Bell from boss Lu Hongliu. Upon speaking to Huang Jian'e, she provides the Zhenwu Hairpin headgear. Completing the quest involves giving her the Trinity Bell before moving to Mt. Zhenwu. Progressing without giving her the item results in hostility. The next stage requires players to reach Cloudspire - Snowy Passage and accept tasks from Jian'e.
To start the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Huang Jian'e quest, you must acquire the Trinity Bell item. It's dropped by a boss named Lu Hongliu in an arena in Narrow Stretch--i.e. the village near Shu Sanctum.
As for Jian'e, she's actually inside Shu Sanctum. The first time you speak to her, she'll give you the Zhenwu Hairpin headgear.
Note: Do not progress further into the campaign without giving the Trinity Bell to Huang Jian'e. If you fail to give her this item, she'll turn hostile by the time you reach Mt. Zhenwu.
Next, advance further into the campaign until you reach Cloudspire - Snowy Passage. From the shrine, open the town gate and look to your left.
