Starting September 2, Helldivers 2 adds the Into the Unjust update that enables squads to undertake underground missions on Hive Worlds to investigate the Gloom shroud and confront a new subterranean species of Terminids. Underground operations restrict Super Destroyer support, requiring tighter player coordination and improved survival skills. A Premium Dust Devils Warbond will offer new weapons, grenades, stratagems, and cosmetic capes. Helldivers 2 launched on Xbox Series X|S, expanding the player base, and a Halo 3: ODST crossover has been revealed. The Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits, or players can buy Super Credits packs for $10.
The new Into the Unjust update for Helldivers 2 has been revealed, and starting September 2, players can finally go underground in their quest to bring Managed Democracy to the Terminid hordes--and they'll also be bringing several million tons of devastating explosives. Helldivers will discover what lies behind the mysterious Gloom shroud that has enveloped several Hive Worlds, as squads will venture beneath the surface of these planets.
The catch here? Because these missions take place underground, your Super Destroyer won't be able to give you full support, so you'll need to sharpen your skills if you hope to survive against a new subterranean species of Terminids and find the source of the Gloom. The good news is that a new Premium Dust Devils Warbond will also be available, giving players a new selection of weapons, grenades, stratagems, and fancy capes to equip before they head into battle.
Helldivers 2 launched on Xbox Series X|S today, which means that the ongoing war just got a sizable number of reinforcements. Sony first announced in July that it was bringing Helldivers 2 to Xbox, and developer Arrowhead also began teasing a Halo 3: ODST crossover. This has been officially revealed, and you can click this link to see the new gear in all of their nostalgic glory.
