Genshin Impact will be removed from PS4 on September 10, 2025, due to hardware limitations and application size issues. MiHoYo announced that the PS5 version will continue to receive updates and support. The discontinuation process will occur in three phases: the game will be removed from the PlayStation Store, in-game purchases will be delisted, and finally, all update support for PS4 will end. Users who previously downloaded the game will be able to redownload it, but new users on PS4 will not have access.
