HoYoverse announced that Genshin Impact will no longer be supported on PS4. The game will be removed from the PlayStation Store on September 9, 2025, and all in-game purchases will be taken out by February 25, 2026. After March 8, 2026, players will no longer be able to log in or play the game on PS4. Players on PS4 have up to eight months to prepare for this transition, with options to continue on other platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series, PC, or mobile devices. The reasoning involves hardware performance and application size.
Due to limitations related to hardware performance and platform application size, we will be discontinuing our support and updates for Genshin Impact on PS4 in future versions.
The Zelda-like open-world RPG will be removed from the PlayStation Store on September 9, 2025, meaning if you've never added the game to your PS4 before that date, it'll disappear from search results.
By February 25, 2026, all of Genshin Impact's in-game purchases will be removed from both the PS Store and from the game itself.
On March 8, 2026, the game will lose all PS4 support, and players will no longer be able to log in.
