""I went to [EA] recently and they're like no, we're not interested anymore,""
""I said, 'I can get back the leadership team.' I need the models from [Dead Space remake developer] EA Motive, and I can save you 30 to 40 million dollars on the idea that I have. And, they're like, 'no.'""
""quite a few""
Glen Schofield wants to make another Dead Space game and has multiple new game ideas. His last major release was 2022's Callisto Protocol, which underperformed, and he left the studio he co-founded less than a year after release. Schofield currently leads Pinstripe Games, which has not announced its project. He approached Electronic Arts offering to restore leadership, reuse models from EA Motive, and save EA $30–40 million, but EA declined. A pending Saudi-linked acquisition of EA could create a new chance to revive, sell, or expand the Dead Space franchise into other media.
