Cyberpunk 2077 reached its fifth anniversary on December 10. Developers publicly thanked the community for fan art, videos, cosplay, and mods. The original December 2020 launch suffered severe technical problems, prompting removal from the PlayStation Store and widespread refunds. CD Projekt committed to extensive fixes and delivered major improvements, including the 2.0 overhaul and the Phantom Liberty expansion. The game sold more than 35 million copies, reached that milestone faster than The Witcher 3, expanded to Switch 2, and now has a sequel in development alongside a recently announced official Cyberpunk Trading Card Game.
