Call Of Duty Brings Back The Predator For Halloween Event
"It is now October, which means spooky season has begun. A number of games are celebrating, including Activision's Call of Duty, which is bringing back The Predator for the first time in a long time. The Haunting, which is the annual Call of Duty Halloween event, begins on October 9. A promo image for the event reveals a few things, including the return of The Predator and the fan-favorite MP40 gun."
"The Predator has not been in a Call of Duty game since Call of Duty: Ghosts all the way back in 2014 via the Devastation DLC. The timing for The Predator's return may not be random, as 20th Century Studios is releasing the next Predator movie, Predator: Badlands, on November 7. The Haunting is likely to include a number of other spooky skins and Halloween-themed maps and modes."
"The Predator's new skin for Black Ops 6 will not carry forward to Black Ops 7-- in fact, almost no content does--but Black Ops 6 content does indeed move to Warzone going forward. In other Call of Duty news, the Black Ops 7 beta is going on now and was recently extended for another day-- it now wraps up on October 9. That's the same day The Haunting begins, so Call of Duty fans can roll from one experience to the next."
The Haunting event begins on October 9 and will feature the return of The Predator and the MP40. The Predator last appeared in Call of Duty: Ghosts via the 2014 Devastation DLC. The Predator's return coincides with the November 7 release of Predator: Badlands from 20th Century Studios. The Haunting will likely add spooky skins, Halloween-themed maps, and special modes. Activision plans to share more about the Halloween content for Black Ops 6 and Warzone later in the week. New Black Ops 6 content will move to Warzone but will not generally carry forward to Black Ops 7. The Black Ops 7 beta ends October 9. Battlefield 6 launches October 10.
