Doug Bowser will step down as president of Nintendo of America effective December 31 after more than a decade with the company. Devon Pritchard will succeed Bowser as president and join NOA's Board of Directors as an Executive Officer. Pritchard has been with Nintendo since June 2006 and currently serves as executive vice president of Revenue, Marketing and Consumer Experience. Bowser praised Pritchard's leadership and expressed confidence in the transition to the next generation of leadership. Pritchard said she is humbled and focused on building on Nintendo's legacy while welcoming new players. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa thanked Bowser for his contributions.
