Doug Bowser is stepping down as President of Nintendo of America after five years leading the North American business unit. Bowser has been a ten-year veteran of Nintendo. The departure occurs a few months after the arrival of the Switch 2 hardware. Devon Pritchard, a long-time Nintendo executive, will replace Bowser as President. Bowser recalled an early arcade Donkey Kong experience and described lifelong passion for Nintendo shared with his family. Bowser credited the team for business results and the consumer experiences they created. Bowser called Pritchard's promotion a testament to strong performance and strategic contributions and expressed full confidence in her leadership.
