Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is preparing for its first English closed beta test, allowing players to apply from July 24 to August 14. Notifications for selected participants will occur between August 15 and 20. Although specific beta test dates are not provided, it is expected to start in late August. Progress from the beta will not transfer to the official launch later in the year, but in-game purchases made during the test will be converted to in-game currency. The MMO is being developed by a different company compared to the original canceled title.
From July 24 through August 14, players can fill out a closed beta application for an opportunity to play. Those selected will be notified from August 15-20.
Progress from the beta won't carry over to the full launch, but players can make in-game purchases during the test, converted to in-game currency at a rebate rate.
This new version of the MMO uses many of the original Blue Protocol's assets but transforms aspects like its combat and progression systems into a new game.
Star Resonance will only be on PC and mobile, at least for now, unlike the original which was slated for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
