Bethesda Vetoed Showing Hitler's Penis In Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
"That's right: If it weren't for higher-ups at Bethesda, the game would have shown Hitler's weird penis. Speaking to Noclip (via IGN), MachineGames studio director Jerk Gustatfsson revealed the (tiny) tidbit of information while discussing the creation of the game. It would have occurred when Hitler was urinating in a bucket (which did make it into the game) as Blazkowicz prepared to deliver his lines in a film audition."
"Game director Jens Matthies added that he asked a production executive at Bethesda about this idea, and was advised not to do it--so we were left only seeing Hitler violently vomiting and peeing haphazardly into a bucket. Perhaps that was for the best, as Hitler--whose role in WW2 ended with a big hole in his head--reportedly had a very weird wiener, as well."
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus contains a confrontation in which BJ Blazkowicz encounters Adolf Hitler vomiting and urinating into a bucket. MachineGames originally planned a more explicit depiction that would have shown Hitler's genitals, but Bethesda executives advised against including that content, so the scene was limited to vomiting and urination. The game still portrays a degrading, graphic moment for Hitler without explicit genital display. Other games such as the Sniper Elite series include interactive depictions of Hitler's anatomy, and MachineGames has released other titles and DLC since Wolfenstein 2.
