Battlefield 6 Dominates October US Sales Chart
"Battlefield 6 is undoubtedly a big success, as new Circana data reveals it has stomped all over the US October sales charts. Matt Piscatella of Circana shared the data which revealed Battlefield 6 on the top spot. In fact, it's not just October's best-selling game, it's currently the best-selling game of the entire year. Of course, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 just landed (possibly on its face, based on early player data) but it has missed out on the October sales list."
"Second place goes to Pokemon Legends Z-A. It's actually possible it beat out Battlefield 6, because as the Circana chart shows, digital sales are not included. In other words, that 2nd place was earned through physical sales only. In fact, according to Piscatella, Pokemon Legends Z-A, "launched as 2025's best-selling physical game year-to-date." The success of Pokemon pushed Ghost of Yotei down to 3rd place for the month."
Circana data shows Battlefield 6 topped US October sales and is the best-selling game year-to-date. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 released in October but did not appear on the October sales list. Pokemon Legends Z-A ranked second in October physical sales and may have outsold Battlefield 6 when digital sales are considered, since the chart excludes digital figures. Pokemon Legends Z-A launched as 2025's best-selling physical game year-to-date. The Pokemon surge pushed Ghost of Yotei to third for the month; Ghost of Yotei remains the top-selling platform exclusive year-to-date. The Outer Worlds 2 debuted at seventh. Helldivers 2 fell from sixth in September to eighteenth in October.
