"In a statement, Battlefield Studios said it's reducing the starting ticket-counts to help matches "finish at a more natural pace." The developer said its data showed that "many rounds" were concluding by time limit as opposed to when one team ran out of tickets, which is why it's making these new changes. The developer also pledged to continue looking at feedback and data to sure match flow "feels right.""

Battlefield Studios is reducing starting ticket counts on multiple Conquest maps to help matches finish at a more natural pace. Data showed many rounds were concluding by time limit rather than by one team running out of tickets, prompting the adjustments. The new starting ticket counts vary by map, with reductions ranging from 100 to 300 tickets. The studio recently made fixes to hit registration and raised Rush ticket counts on some maps from 75 to 100. Weapon-balance changes were implemented, including reduced muzzle velocity for the M2020 ESR and the PSR. Season 1 launches on October 28, coinciding with a rumored battle royale debut, and publisher sales figures remain unannounced while one analyst estimated 6.5 million launch sales.
