Minecraft Live revealed a fall addition of the Dappled Forest biome, featuring red, green, and yellow scenery. The biome includes new structures called Abandoned Camps and introduces Poplar trees and Poplar wood blocks. Abandoned Camps contain chests left by former explorers, offering loot without specified rarity. The fall drop is positioned around playing with friends and exploration and adventure. Mojang previously added a direct peer-to-peer connection to Java Snapshots before removing it days later, suggesting a similar feature may return. The next update, Chaos Cubed, is scheduled for June 16.
