Mirage: Miracle Quest centers on Mirage, a descendant of the missing otter deity Eos, who learns of her heritage through a dream from her late grandmother. The demo opens with Mirage undertaking mundane errands before escalating into combat against a would-be thief. The game pairs cute pixel art and upbeat music with surprisingly challenging, tactical turn-based encounters. Combat features magical-girl transformations that change outfits and stats, and a wand that determines available spells. Spells and party abilities are represented by a hand of cards, with a favorite-card option and a shuffled deck. Attacks have elemental types that can stagger enemies when exploited.
